First Floor, Home of the Adventurers consists of five distinct clans that floor brothers commit to: Anglo Saxons, Apaches, Normans, Vikings and Jurchens. The floor brothers address thier Floor Chairperson as Gungju (共主) and our Vice-Chairperson as Laodoi (樓代). It is the first floor culture to not only have five clans compete against each other in post-late night snacks, inter-clan ball games and athletics, but also to support each other and uphold our floor spirit together. Our floor spirit is love, in which our brothers embrace candidness, mutual encouragement and unity. 

Second Floor, 梁山泊 (Liang Shan Po) is the only floor in St. John's College without an English name. Its name derives from Water Margin 《水滸傳》, one of the Four Greatest Classical Novels of Chinese literature. The common place of the second floor is called 忠義堂（Chung Yi Tung). Every seniorised floor brother and affiliated member has his/her own star name. 

The floor treasure is a set of three books of "Shui Hu" with 120 Chapters, 108 Liang Shan Characters, while our Secondary Floor Treasure includes floor drum, floor chair's bowl and an alcohol container for seniorisation. The Floor Chairperson holds an Eagle, while the Floor Vice-Chairperson holds a Knife and a Portrait of 108 "Shui Hu" Characters. 

Third Floor, the Magnificent Musketeers. It is built upon the story of "The Three Musketeers", and is the second earliest floor association to be established. The floor treasure is Brothers, and the floor motto is Philanthropy, meaning to love extensively and to love with best effort. All seniorised members are given their own Musketeer name. The Floor Chairperson is named "General", and holds an Épée and a 博愛 card, while the Vice-Chairperson holds the "Tomb of Swords". 

Fourth Floor, the House of Lords, is the earliest established floor association in St. John's College, established in 1956. During a floor meeting a long time ago, a senior floor brother told the story of King Arthur and the Knight of the Round Table. The story is about how King Arthur obtained the magical sword Excalibur under guidance from the Lady of the Lake and led a group of Knights to unite the war-torn country in Medieval England. Hearing this, the floor brothers were aspired to be as united as the Knights of the Round Table, and decided to name the floor as the House of Lords. Thus, all seniorised members are given their own Lord name. 

At the Fifth Floor Fraternity, the spirit is Peace and Love, as well as mutual inspiration. The floor treasure includes a pair of buffalo horns, two professor Green Shields, two giant beer cups, floor flag and "Peace and Love". Our subculture consists of a single society, a torch relay and a secondary floor song. 

The Sixth Floor Association is the most populated floor in St. John's College. The Floor Motto is Enduring (忍), and the Floor Spirit is Resilience (靭) and Zeal (悉). 

Seventh Floor, Elysium, originates from the place where immortals live in the Ancient Greek Myths. The Floor Motto is confidential, as it is passed onto generations and it can only be shared with qualified goddesses. 

Eight Floor, Florence Heights, is derived from the Chinese Poet Xu Zhimo's poem "A Night in Florence", provoking the imagery of an Italian villa filled with exotic flowers. The floor treasure includes a flower basket and a bowl of the Floor Chairperson, while our secondary floor treasure is an olive seed. The Floor Vice-Chairperson holds a herbal tea cup and a paper fan. The floor motto is candidness and our subculture includes fellowship, milk meeting and room blocking. 

Ninth Floor, Kew Gardens, originates from a garden owned by the English Royal Family. The floor treasure includes a Kew Gardens book, a Kew Gardens cup, cushion, treasure map and florilege. The floor motto is "Love and Unity". The Floor Chairperson is called St. John's wort, and every floor sister will have her own flower name.

Tenth Floor, Liberata, is the only floor in St. John's College that does not have a Chinese name. The floor treasure is a woodcut and antlers. The floor motto is: Brave and Vigorous, Decisive and Independent, United and Open, Rigid but not Rash, Gentle but not Weak. The sub-floor motto is as Lovely as Blossom, and Composed and Poised.
