Master

Dr. Kwok Chun WONG, an alumnus of the Second Floor, is appointed to be Master in 2022. He was the Dean of the College from 1995 to 2022. He obtained a Bachelor's and Doctorate degree from the Department of Real Estate and Construction of the University of Hong Kong. He is now Associate Professor in the Department of Real Estate of HKU.

Assistant Master

Mr. LEE is an alumnus of the Fourth Floor and was formerly the Chairperson of the Science Society, HKUSU and the Chairperson of the College Students’ Association. He was formerly the Chief Executive of TBWA Hakuhodo in China. He was awarded the Player of the Year of the University Volleyball Team and the College Contribution Award.

Chaplain

Rev. Dr. CHONG received his education and professional training in Engineering, Anthropology and Archaeology, Philosophy from University of Malaya, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Columbia University, University of London, and Cambridge University.

Undergraduates' Tutor

Mr. SHOIKOT is an alumnus of 1st floor. He graduated from HKU in 2021 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) degree with first-class honours. He is currently working as a Software Engineer, focusing on blockchain and AI software development.

Senior Undergraduates' Tutor 

Mr. PAN is a First Floor alumnus. He enrolled in the Bachelors of Engineering and of Business Administration programme under HKU Full Scholarship in 2016. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2020. He is currently a fifth-year student of the double degree programme and a Director of St. John’s College Alumni Association.

Undergraduates' Tutor

Mr. CHEUNG is a 1st Floor alumnus. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (Global Health and Development) degree with a Minor in Counselling in 2023. He is now pursuing post-graduate studies in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He also serves as a Councillor at the Medical Students Council (2024 - 2025) and leads a student-led organization that delivers free health education and services to the local community in the name of Medical Society, HKU. His academic interests include primary health care and mental health and wellbeing, along with a general interest in music and film. 

Undergraduates' Tutor

Mr. LAI is a 4th Floor member and an affiliated member of the 8th Floor. He is a penultimate year medical student in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme, and an HKU President's Scholar. Concurrently, he is also completing a Masters of Science in Public Health (Health Services Management) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Mr. TSE is an alumnus of 5th floor and an affiliated member of 10th floor. He graduated from HKU in 2022 with a Bachelor of Finance (Asset Management and Private Banking) degree. He is currently working in Finance.

Mr. SAMSON is an alumnus of the Sixth Floor and an affiliated member of the Eighth Floor. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in 2023. He is currently completing a Master of Public Health in Health Economics, Policy and Management from HKU.

Ms. En Yu Yap, an alumna of the Seventh Floor and affiliated member of the First Floor, is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong, where she was enrolled in the Science Master Class programme (BSc&MRes) under the HKU Full Scholarship in 2021 and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in European Studies in 2025. She was named Class Connector of the Year and featured across all HKU main social media channels, and currently serves as a College Tutor. She served as Chairperson of the College Students' Association (2022-23).

Ms. SHARMIN is an alumnus of Seventh Floor. She graduated from HKU in 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering with first-class honours. She is currently a PhD candidate at HKU in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, working in the field of optics and photonics.  Her research focuses on the development of novel laser-based imaging and microscopy modalities for biomedical and environmental applications.

Ms. Julia LEE is an alumnus of the Ninth Floor and an affiliated member of the First Floor. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelors of Business Administration, Marketing in 2022.

Ms. NGAN is an alumnus of Tenth Floor and an affiliated member of First Floor. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) in 2023. She currently works in a leading local bank.

Senior Postgraduates' Tutor 

Dr. Chan first joined the College when he started his PhD in medicine. He served as the Chairman of SJCPGSA, academic tutor and residential tutor. Chris is also a member of the Fifth Floor and an affiliated member of the Ninth Floor. His current medical research and practice focus on integrating Chinese and conventional medicine for various conditions.

Postgraduates' Tutor 

Ms. González joined the College two years ago. She is currently a residential tutor for fifth and sixth floor of Wong Chik Ting Hall. She is currently a Credit Risk professional at BBVA. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a Master's in International and Public Affairs from The University of Hong Kong.

Postgraduates' Tutor 

Ms. Junyou Clara Chen is a second-year PhD student in Social Work at the Faculty of Social Sciences, The University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on young people’s mental health. Before starting her PhD, she worked full-time as a Research Assistant at HKU’s Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention. 

Postgraduates' Tutor 

Mr. Huibin Robin Zhao is a third-year PhD student in Robotics at the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Beihang University and a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Bristol. He previously served as Vice Chair and Chair of SJCPGSA. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and guitar.

College Affairs Manager

Ms. AU is an alumna of the Ninth Floor, and an affiliated member of the Sixth Floor. She graduated from HKU in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Leisure Management. She is the Vice-Chairperson of St. John's College Alumni Association. She was the Sports Captain of the St. John’s College Students’ Association in 2000-01.

Communications and Programs Officer

Ms. WU obtained a Bachelor's and Master’s degree from the Mechanical Engineer and Applied Project Management of the University of Adelaide. She was formerly the Vice President and Marketing Director of AUCSA. She was formerly the MT at FESCO (affiliated to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Beijing).

Mr. Kwok is an alumnus of Fifth Floor. He graduated from HKU in 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with a minor in Finance.
